Miguel Trinidad Palma's Grammar of the Aztec or Mexican Language is a basic, structured work that presents the grammar of Nahuatl (the Aztec language) based on the official program of the normal schools of Puebla in 1886, combining rules of pronunciation, spelling, syntax, and vocabulary with examples and practical exercises.

Miguel Trinidad Palma was a professor of Latin at the State College and a teacher of the Aztec language at the normal schools in Puebla. The work was created following the official program so that future teachers could learn Nahuatl in order to communicate with indigenous communities and promote education. Palma was inspired by authors like Fr. Horacio Carochi, Zenteno, Vázquez Gastelú, and others, adapting their rules into a clear and accessible method.
