First thus.

Native drawings facing Spanish texts illustrative of festival designs on blankest, day signs, year signs and long section on movable ceremonies, gods and mortuary, sacrificial, versions of this material in related manuscripts. There are three major editions. Nuttall (1903) and Codex Magliabecchiano (1904) are by color lithography. That by Nuttall omits preliminary and blank leaves, repetitious year signs, and one text considered unfit for publication. Both are superseded by Anders (1970), by color photography with detailed description and introduction. There is no published transcript or translations of the texts. (Handbook of Middle American Indians 188). In this set Elizabeth Boone provides the text to this edition, using the facsimile reprint of the original Nuttal work.
