Eulália Maria Lahmeyer Lobo was a Brazilian historian , the first woman to obtain a doctorate in history in Brazil. Graduated in the year of 1944, by the University of Brazil , in Geography and History, where she was doctored in the following decade in History of America. In the 1980s, she taught at the Universidade Federal Fluminense until becoming an emeritus teacher in 1998; also taught the subject at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 1963 to 1985, when he received from UFRJ the title of emeritus teacher.
