Includes William Methwold's 'Relation', reprinted from Purchas his Pilgrimes. William Methwold (sometimes spelled Methold), (c1590-1653), was an English merchant and colonial administrator in India. He is credited with identifying the site of Bombay as a strategic port.

Two other 'relations', one by Antony Schorer, translated from the Dutch and an anonymous relation.

Condition:

Corners and edges bumped. Jacket with edge wear, chips and small tears spine toned and chipped at ends else very good in scarce jacket.
