This volume another vein of the rich one in the mine of the Hudson's Bay Company archives has been opened to historians. The Council of the Northern Department of Rupert's Land was the important executive body of the Hudson's Bay Company. The minutes of the annual and special meetings between 1821 and 1831 constitute the record of the first importance in interpreting the operations of the fur trade in the area west and north of the Winnipeg and Severn rivers.
Unread with uncut pages. Lightly soiled, corners bumped else better than very good.
