Thomas R Hester is professor emeritus of the University of Texas at Austin and is the author of a number of works on anthropology and archaeology. He is still active in the Texas Archaeological Society and is often a frequent speaker.

Hester's name on front end paper with the initials of from RFH (Robert Heizer) below the signature. Ignacio Bernal's business card glued to front end paper. Edge wear with corners and edges bumped. Jacket with edge chips and 2" x 1" chip at front heal corner and 1' chipped from spine head else a very good copy in a fair jacket.
