This report on archaeological fieldwork in the Seistan area is based on two trips made by the author to that areas as a member of the Afghan Expeditions sponsored by the Department of Anthropology of the American Museum of Natural History.
Donald Dilworth Brand was professor of Geography, University of Texas at Austin from 1949-75. This work was passed on to Thomas R Hester Professor of Anthropology and Director Texas Archeological Research Laboratory The University of Texas at Austin.
