It tells the story of Singra, the Wicked Witch of the South, who who has awakened after a one-hundred-year enchanted sleep. Discovering that Dorothy has killed her cousins, Singra seeks revenge on her, but accidentally enchants Trot instead!

Meanwhile, Dorothy, aided by Percy, a giant rat, and Leon the Neon, a man formed from lighted neon tubing, seeks to thwart the the former Wicked Witch of the South. A suspenseful Oz tale balanced with humor and Eric Shanower's outstanding illustrations make this a book all Oz enthusiasts will want to read!
