Tarrant County Archaeological Society members excavated the Chambers Site, located in northwestern Tarrant County. Lithic tools, pottery and debris recovered were classic late prehistoric in date and Caddo by culture. This small but unusual site is important to this area as so few undisturbed late prehistoric sites have been reported in this county. Also, conditions here do not show this to be a camp site, but rather a resting or gathering site for an intrusive people to the area.

Lightly soiled else a very good copy.
