This report represents the results of investigations conducted primarily between June and September 1978 in drainages of Cordoroy Creek, Dry Valley and Forestdale Creek in east central Arizona. This work was designed to realize the significance of the prehistoric cultural resources which were to suffer direct impacts from the construction of the new highway through Corduroy Creek. The project included excavation of six sites, surface collection and minor testing at ten sites, and photographic/cartographic documentation of petroglyphs at one site.
