The ancient Mexicans within their philosophy and way of life had a principle with which they built their culture. This principle is called Topializ Yuhcatiliztli which refers to "taking what is ours to adopt a way of life". This was a term meant to take back everything that the ancestors had left to live in a refined way in which they ceased to live as mere animals dedicated to satisfying biological needs. Resuming what is ours leads to making the culture that was formed for several thousands of years in Anahuac, from the first manifestations of high thought with the Olmecs to the songs professed by the Mexihcas. Doctor Federico Ortiz Quesada explores this view through this work.
